The Grand Z Casino Hotel at Central City is the newest of the three Z-branded casinos opened by CC Gaming LLC, which was acquired by Maverick Gaming LLC in late 2019.

The property is based in the location of the former Reserve Hotel & Casino, which was purchased and renovated by CC Gaming in 2017. The renovation was a dramatic makeover which revitalized the entire property including the hotel complex.
